My wife and I enjoyed the grape to glass tasting experience, and I must say it was incredible. We are by no means a sommelier, actually quite far from it, but we certainly feel much closer after this experience. Our guide, Jacqui, was so entertaining, insightful and all around amazing person to lead us through such an experience. She taught us about truly every step of the process from the grape to the glass(es) we enjoyed and lead us through the process as it unfolds on the grounds of the winery all while sprinkling in some history of the winery in particular and wine making in general.
I have purposefully remained silent on the wines themselves, as each individual will form their own impressions. However, I found them all to be particularly fabulous. Again, Jacqui really helped us explore by offering exemplary food pairings and explaining how each flavor was enhanced by the other.
This was our first winery visit, and our first visit to Paso Robles, but after visiting several other wineries throughout Paso and a few in Napa, I can say that Jacqui and Robert Hall were far and away our favorite experience. If you are looking to learn more about wine tasting and wine making, I cannot recommend this...

Read moreVery nice winery with great wines. we did the reserve tastimg and purchased a few bottles from their selection. Our host/waitress Fabiola was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the flavors In each wine. We chose to go here because the winery was pet friendly and we were visiting Paso Robles with our 2 dogs. There was a worker there who really put a dent in our visit (red headed, bald, and we were told was the lead wine tasting something or other). Although this was a Pet friendly winery, he made it a point to come outside 3 times and make us feel very uncomfortable because one of our dogs barked. There were 2 other tables with small dogs that barked the entire time we were there yet he never stepped out to say anything to those dog owners. Again we went there because it was "pet friendly" all of the other workers were amazing, super accommodating, and great with our dogs. But all it took was the one person to ruin the entire relaxed happy vibe we had going. Did love 2 of their cabernet...
