Looked like fun, but the family that warned us of the broken board in the middle made us nervous before we even laid eyes on it, and as I started across I couldn’t help but be nervous about the soft, warped boards. Even with only stepping on the parts where the boards sat on the supports, I felt like the thing could fall apart. The fall wasn’t what worried me, it was wondering what part of the bridge would snag my skin or lodge in my body as I fell. 1st it was on a list of fun things to do in Pawhuska. My sister and I decided to check it out since we were here for the 1st time. We thought we had made a wrong turn when we came to the end of a road with boarded up houses and trash everywhere. We saw the bridge and was almost scared to get out of the car. You could almost hear the banjo music. We got to the bridge and was shocked! Missing board big enough to fall through. Death trap according to my sister.
