I recently visited the swinging bridge, and it was a cool experience. The bridge offers a little bit of history and excitement, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and tourists.
The bridge itself is a charming relic from the past, swaying gently as you walk across it. The views of the surrounding landscape are quite picturesque, and it's a great place for some memorable photos. The gentle sway of the bridge adds an element of excitement, especially for those who enjoy a bit of a thrill.
One of the highlights is the sense of connection to Pawhuska's history. Walking across the bridge, you can't help but think about the many people who have crossed it over the years. It's a living piece of the town's heritage.
However, a word of caution: the bridge can be a bit challenging for those who are afraid of heights or who have balance issues. It's also important to note that it's not the most accessible attraction for people with mobility impairments.
Overall, the swinging bridge is a charming and adventurous spot that offers a glimpse into Pawhuska's past. It's a perfect outing for families, history buffs, and anyone looking to add a bit of excitement to their day. I highly recommend it, just be prepared for a bit of a...
Read moreAn injury and lawsuit waiting to happen. Looked like fun, but the family that warned us of the broken board in the middle made us nervous before we even laid eyes on it, and as I started across I couldn’t help but be nervous about the soft, warped boards. Even with only stepping on the parts where the boards sat on the supports, I felt like the thing could fall apart. The fall wasn’t what worried me, it was wondering what part of the bridge would snag my skin or lodge in my body as I fell. Definitely a “cross at your own risk” situation, but if you want to do it, I’d do it soon because I don’t think this bridge is gonna be around a lot longer (either needs closed for restoration or just closed for...
Read more1st it was on a list of fun things to do in Pawhuska. My sister and I decided to check it out since we were here for the 1st time. We thought we had made a wrong turn when we came to the end of a road with boarded up houses and trash everywhere. We saw the bridge and was almost scared to get out of the car. You could almost hear the banjo music. We got to the bridge and was shocked! Missing board big enough to fall through. Death trap according to my sister. We were shocked but in the end we were laughing so hard because it was comical.i would not recommend it because of the danger expressly for kids. But it was an...
