Salon CC — Attraction in Peabody

I got a gel manicure and pedicure last week by Kelsey after purchasing a Groupon. She was very sweet but the atmosphere was not what I expected. The didn't have actual pedicure chairs, instead they filled up a "pedi bath" which is essentially a basin full of water and used that for the pedicures while you are sitting on an elevated bench with some pillows. I also didn't notice her using a clean nail file/clean tools which should have been a red flag. My toes did come out nice so I don't want to complain about that and they have lasted me a week so far, I'm hoping to get at least a month out of them. But as I am getting my pedicure done, a mouse came scurrying across the salon and everyone just pretends like it didn't just happen. From a sanitary aspect, I was not happy with the salon at all. I then go over to the station to get a gel manicure. It was nothing special but got the job done. I loved the color and was hoping they would last me a few weeks as they should and have when done by other salons. By day 2, the polish was already peeling off my nail on a few of my fingers. I called and they had me come in to get it fixed, which I did and was grateful they were willing to do so free of charge. It's only been a few days since getting my nails fixed and only 3 have polish left on them. I have never left a review for any place before but I am extremely disappointed with...

I had a lovely conversation about 10 days ago and was set up for a hair consultation. I enjoyed meeting Mary and she made a plan to color my hair and told me to plan to be there for 3 hours+ Approximately 90 minutes before my appointment which was confirmed I received a disturbing phone call from a woman cancelling my appointment. She told me I am on a list of people the Salon doesn't want to do business with even though I never went to Salon CC and went somewhere else for the last 3 years. After speaking to them further, they told me my business is not welcome there due to drama - I had no idea what they were referring to. I was able to get in touch with the Owner of the Salon I was going to and he helped me figure out where this came from. The person who rented a chair used to rent a chair at Salon CC. Even though I parted professionally with my prior hairdresser obviously, slander and libel was committed against my name. This was handled very poorly and I am quite upset and looking into filing further legal action. This matter was poorly handled by the woman I spoke to - she told me my asking questions was causing drama - now, I understand what prior people who rented a chair from this Salon meant. Unprofessional - too many Salons...

Ok, you're back. Now you can read my gushing review. "Amazing" falls short of explaining how awesome this service was. Even if you ignore the artistry the manicure pictured took or the absolutely stellar job done on my toes, you would still be thrilled with the service, staff and location. The salon is on a new location and is GORGEOUS. The natural light coming in while you get your nails done is relaxing. The chairs for pedicures... let's just say I'm glad I didn't snore. Abbi is an artist with her nail designs. I find myself scrolling endlessly for designs for her to create. Her talent knows no bounds. The product she uses (Gel-X) is bringing my nails back to health. I'm thrilled I found this shop and will continue to go there, booking my appointments in advance because once the secret is out about her talents, it's gonna be...
