I purchased a projector screen on 9/24 that was advertised in the store as being 102”. I did not have room in my vehicle to take it home that day and so, I returned to the store on Saturday 9/30 to pick up my purchase. We got it home and measured it and found that it was significantly less than 102” diagonally. I called back up to the store 20 minutes before they closed to see what could be done. The gentleman I spoke with apologized and said that they measured the item and the spec too advise that the unit was 102”. Well, there is no model number on the unit (so I am unsure of how they determined it’s model number, seeing as though it was unboxed), but since the only option he provided me was to bring it back for a full refund because they did not have another comparable screen to exchange it for, we opted to keep the unit and I hung up. SECONDS LATER, the store called ME back to offer me a discount off of my purchase, but the gentleman advised that the only person who could perform a refund without the card being present was not in the store at the time. I told him to leave a message for that person so that when I called back, she would know what this call was in reference to. I called to the store today and this woman told me “Ma’am….it was only $50…the most I could give you is $5, which is nothing… and even the measurement is not correct, we sold it a good price.” (and she chuckled). FIRST OF ALL, I did not ASK your company for a refund….I only EXPECTED you to sell me what you claim to have had available in your store and when you could not do that, I ONLY EXPECTED you to follow through on YOUR offer for a discount! I told the woman to KEEP her money and I hung up. My husband and I drove from Newnan to Norcross to do business with this company and I will never give them another dime or moment of my time. As I walked through the warehouse and found the stackable washer and dryer, my wife and I were looking for that suited our needs. As I interacted with some of the salespeople on the warehouse floor I asked several times to confirm that the store accepted Acima (I had already seen on the Acima website that the store was part of their appoved stores). As I made my final selection, I proceeded to the front counter and stated that I wanted to make the purchase through Acima. The person behind the counter without even making eye contact stated, "We are not doing Acima TODAY." I asked this individual if they were no longer a part of the Acima approved stores and again without eye contact stated."We are not doing Acima TODAY." Then he added,"Maybe on the weekend." It was clear to me that for whatever reason (although I have my suspicions), he did want my business. Without making a scene, I left and went up the street to V&G appliance depot (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!) and got the washer and dryer combo that my wife and I needed at a great price with AWESOME customer service.
