So the RVs are really close together and when the workers came to work at 7:00 a.m. they talk loud and and woke me up the whole time I stayed the front desk people but then they also handed me a letter to remind me I was supposed to leave which I had never experienced that which they gave me a letter stating I was supposed to leave a day early when I was not supposed to until the next day the reminding me when to leave not only did they say they're going to charge my car because of my animals that I never let off the leash even though there was about 20 other people that didn't have leashes on their dog when I was there if I were you I would make sure that you don't get that you have internet on your phone we weren't able to have internet the whole time and this was an admenitythat I paid for they had two towers which if you're not right under they're not going to work are you friendly with your neighbors cuz you can literally reach out your window and touch them I saw a lot of people tied their animals to the back of their RV and just left from out there to dig holes in their garden the maintenance guy yelled at me yell at me at 7:00 a.m. knock on my door twice even though I didn't answer the first time for a reason cuz I was tired and sleeping and said clean up your table and all I had was on there was some seashells in a bucket of water this was very very rude unprofessional and knock on my door so hard as I thought it was the police yell at my dogs for barking which The People's dog behind us would not stop no matter what they seem to charge people's card for anything if you don't obey the rules the way they want you to so be careful on what you choose make sure you have your own internet and the bathrooms weren't clean that often anytime I try to take a...

Lip stick on a smoking pig.

If you’re considering this KOA, I urge you to read not just my review, but others as well. A quick glance might fool you — the park looks tidy at first. That’s the lipstick. But beneath it, the reality is very different.

Management (Cana) runs this place flying by the seat of her pants: constantly changing rules and rates, showing no understanding of contracts or laws, and offering zero customer service. Long-term residents make up most of the park — some have been here over 11 years — so don’t expect a vacation atmosphere. If you’re looking for a cleaner, friendlier, and more affordable option, head to Pilot Rock RV instead.

The sites are crammed so close together that you smell everything your neighbors are smoking — and many are chronic marijuana smokers. Privacy is nonexistent.

In my own case, I was given a contract, only to be told within 24 hours that my rate would suddenly be $450 higher. Just over a week later, I was told my trailer “wasn’t an acceptable type,” even though the contract said nothing about that. My trailer is a custom-made toy hauler designed to carry my electric wheelchair and off-road mobility device — completely legitimate and safe. But instead of honoring the agreement, management kept moving the goalposts to squeeze out more money.

Cana is petty and unprofessional, changing the rules whenever she feels like it, and it’s clear she’s not equipped to manage a campground.

Bottom line: This KOA is overpriced, mismanaged, and unpleasant. Avoid it at all costs — there are far better, cheaper, and friendlier RV parks...

We recently purchased and refurbished a used trailer. We had great expectations of our first trip and planned to go to the Oregon coast with a first stop at the KOA in Pendleton Oregon. When we arrived we were delighted to see a small store, handicap bathroom facilities, and laundry room. We had some difficulty backing into our site and not only our 2 more experienced neighbors but also a staff member were very helpful in getting ius into place. My mother-in-law came with my husband and myself on this trip. She is a stroke survivor with multiple mental and physical issues and we needed a well lit site with even ground for walking. This KOA met those needs. She became ill the next morning when we awoke and the staff members were very helpful in getting us a refund from the site we had reserved in Lincoln City Oregon. They met every need we had during our 4 night stay and went above and beyond the typical customer service standards that are common these days. We wanted to give out a special thanks to all the staff members who helped us out: Manager: Travis, Assistant Manager: Tina, Office staff: Vicky, Michelle, Heidi, The hard working maintenance staff: John and Ron and housekeeping staff: Jay. You all made a difficult situation as easy as possible. After our 4 night stay we headed home but will highly recommend the staff and facility of the KOA Pendleton to fellow...

The experience I had with trying to get a place there was positive! Working with the staff was pleasant 🤠. Now that I've seen this place in person and seen the workings of it, I can tell you that this has been the best experience of my life in a living situation! Living with my wife alone in a humongous fifth wheel, that can big accommodated by a park like this with multiple accommodations including free showers, great dog park, awesome playground for the children, vivacious views, and an overall great experience, has taught me that this place is the place to be! If you are traveling and needing a place to stay I would call the KOA! The manager here has been more than accommodating. There has been a learning curve for us as new fifth wheel owners. We didn't know all of the things that were required for this thing to run properly. We are figuring it out day to day. Apparently we have some aesthetic things that need to be fixed on our fifth wheel as well. These pieces of knowledge don't just come by through owning a fifth wheel but also through hearing about different things that need to be done by the staff as well as the managers. Without them we would be lost. I want to personally thank the managers and the staff for being so gracious and even asking for a cigarette every once in awhile from them has been just friendly!

Conveniently located just a few blocks off the freeway. It’s easy to get to an access to service stations close by. Very well kept facility. There’s maintenance crew working around the park all day long. The one drawback is the spaces are really close together and if you’re pulling a 38 or 40 foot fifth wheel some spots, you have to back into the blind side and it’s pretty tight. They are very few pull through. At the dog park in a playground for the younger kids. I wouldn’t spend my summer here, but it certainly is a good spot for a stop over.
