I have enjoyed great customer service at Maguire's during and after buying my Mustang. In late August I decided to take advantage of their tire price match to purchase high performance tires for summer driving and tracking on a new set of lightweight rims. I order the tires on 8/31, taking advantage of a great Ford Credit rebate. I was told they were on back order, that they would arrive in 4-6 weeks. This was a bummer because they have to come off when the weather gets cold. I checked in at 4 weeks and they had not arrived. After 6 weeks went by I got frustrated by no followup. At 7.5 weeks I called the service manager. He was great responding to my concern. They had the tires in a couple days. I then felt they could have tracked them down earlier if they had put the same amount of effort into it earlier. I also needed to order cold weather tires by this point, so I again took advantage of another Ford Credit rebate. In both my email and in a big note I left in the car, I gave instructions to put the high performance tires on the car and save the cold weather tires & rims for transport & storage. My salesman Darin gives great customer service shuttling my car from our hometown to the shop & back. When I received the car back, which again is great customer service, the cold weather tires were on the car. I thought something had gone wrong. I had to drive back over the get the high performance tires & rims put on. Somehow the service tech reversed the instructions I had written on on the dashboard of the car. The service was great at this second visit to switch out the tires. I later saw the service manager at a Ford school fundraising event and he told how much effort he put into tracking down the high performance summer tires in the end of October. So my experience was a mix of great customer service but unfortunately big gaps in communication. The Ford Credit rebates plus the customer service would definitely motivate me to use them again. I just wish I had the tires the first week of September when I could...
Read moreI went here a couple weeks ago looking for my next vehicle. My wife had picked out a couple vehicles that we were interested in looking at and Maguire's is local so we thought we would give it a shot. I will state up front, I do not have a 700 credit score and I made that clear to the salesman who was helping us. We took a Ford Flex for a drive and really liked it but when we got back, before my family even got out, I walked over and expressed my concerns about getting approved to the salesman. He assured me that they had put people with scores under 500 in vehicles and mine is over 600, he talked me into letting them run my credit. My wife and I had decided on settling and trying for a Chevrolet Equinox since the monthly payments were closer to what we were trying for based on the projections the salesman presented to us. Ten minutes later, he comes back and informs me that without a co-signer or half the money down (approximately $9,000), they would not be able to get us into anything. So now, after having stated previously that I was concerned about my credit, not only did I not have a new vehicle, but my credit score instantly dropped 25 points due to the hard inquiry they made. Honesty goes a long way and I would have been disappointed, but appreciated it in this case instead of having my credit suffer in the name of a potential sale. Fortunately, I was able to find a vehicle that I didn't have to settle on to get a monthly payment I was comfortable with...
Read moreI left my truck here for them to install four new tires while I did a 3 day section hike in the Appalachian Trail. Customer service was good but the actual job was horrible.
I also had an issue with one of the salesman, I guess they thought I was just going to leave the truck there and leave . But I told him that I was spending 1,146.89 on tires. And he still didn't believe me and asked me to remove the car from the parking lot. I had to go inside again and talk to the guy who I purchased the tires and ask him. He said don't worry about it leave it there.
Installation: They scratched all four rims mind you my tires never been replaced since I bought the truck in 2018 brand new the actual weights that goes on the rim in order to balance them where installed in a hurry. Some weights came off two days after and the others where installed incorrectly. All the rims had this thick glue all around them that in my opinion could have been cleaned. Specially after spending $1,146.89.
Back home in NY: I took them to a real tire shop in Long Island NY where they installed the proper weights and balance my tires correctly. This was a waste of money if you ask me. The Ford dealership had 4 days to make this right and still messed up. I will never return to this place EVER!!!!! If I could give them -40 starts I would. The only good department is the...
