Absolute perfection! I’ve had the privilege of working at Haven on the Farm since it opened in 2023, and I can honestly say it’s the most gorgeous venue I’ve seen. Walking onto the property feels like leaving Illinois and stepping foot into a stunning southern estate. Picturesque trees line the drive, leading guests to soaring ceilings with vintage lighting and a breathtaking bar — together creating the most beautiful and unforgettable atmosphere. The grounds are always immaculate, and every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create the perfect backdrop for a wedding.

Haven is an immaculate venue, but beyond that is the staff who pour their hearts into every single event. As a bartender here, I’ve had the joy of meeting dozens of couples and their families, watching them experience the beauty of this space on one of the most important days of their lives. I’ve built lasting friendships with some couples and guests after their big day, which says so much about the kind of atmosphere this place creates. The team truly goes above and beyond to make sure each wedding runs smoothly and feels unforgettable.

Was lucky enough to be invited to Sean and Erica’s beautiful wedding here on October 5th. Everything about our experience as wedding guests at Haven was perfect. I’ve been to a lot of barn/farm weddings over the years but Haven is by far way out in front of the pack and is totally “top shelf!” From the gorgeous grounds, to the antique bar, and the cathedral like main event space, Haven leaves no detail off the list! The bartenders and wait staff were extremely friendly and hardworking which are unfortunately not always the case in the service industry these days. I even had a chance to meet the owner Ashley who gave me her secret on how she makes the place not just look great, but even smell great! Haven on the Farm is the perfect canvas on which to photograph a wedding! As a wedding photographer who was attending her niece's wedding at Haven, I was in awe of how perfectly curated this venue is to wedding images. Even if it were to rain, you have a massive light, bright "soft box" for images inside in the white painted walls and expansive windows. You could never have a bad wedding image here! The tree lined lane is also magical for a fairytale atmosphere. Ashley and her team are fabulous and take care to make sure everything runs smoothly and meets your expectations.
