Suite Fire Bar and Grille — Restaurant in Peoria

During our most recent stay at the Holiday Inn and Suites we booked a stay and choose to add on the Romance Package which includes Roses (on the bed and dozen roses),bottle of wine of your choosing and a gift certificate to the Suit Fire Bar & Grille. We choose to do room service which you'll want to let them know that during your order thou they weren't quite sure how that worked (I'm guessing these aren't used too often) they were extemely accomidating. The only thing is that you would have to go down to the resteraunt to pick up your order which ended up being delievered to our room becaue of miscommuicaation in room numbers but even then the woman who brought us our food was extemely accomidating. They took our certificate took the money for our order and wrote down how much we had left and she gave examples of how it could be used if say we wanted breakfast. The food was warm and ready to be eaten once we unpacked everything. I got the Chicken Caprese Sandwich and Side House Salad and my husband got the Garlic Parm Shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes and fries. Our gift certificate was for about 50.00 and we ended up with 11 remaining I would say the food is just a tad pricey but for us since it was apart of our room package I think it was worth the price. The food is ok I would have expected more just because the resturaunt always seemed to be busy even during the week which we stayed Wed and Thursday night so that to me was somewhat disappointing but I enjoyed the food and I thought it was cooked well. I also did try something different something I had never tried before so there is that. My husband was disappointed by the portion sizes as he can put away some food (large appetite) but I believe he as well enjoyed the food. Severely inconsistent. We've ordered on Grubhub a ton and it started out amazing. Recently though we've had some huge problems and tonight is the 'final straw' and 'better leave a review' phase of it.

Our order was a complete mess. Undercooked fries, which is whatever for delivery, but my burger which says no cheese on the receipt and the comments (food allergies) had cheese. My husbands burger still had the paper from his cheese cooked into his meal.

The manager could not have cared any less. Sure, we got the refund easily through the app, but it's disappointing when you can tell they dont want to look into things. I hope the situation changes and we can eat there again. Until then, I hope no one reading this gets a nice mouth...

Great happy hour specials. Great custom cocktails and specialty beers as well as a broad selection of domestic. Everything I've had off the menu has been outstanding and served hot. Wait staff is amazing and very attentive. The bartender learns your name if you're a repeat customer and genuinely takes interest in your life. Haven't had a bad experience yet! The chef will occasionally pop out of the kitchen and make sure everything was cooked correctly. I've been to a lot of hotel restaurants and have never seen the attention to detail as I have here. The suite chili bites are great for an appetizer and I recommend the Monterey Chicken for dinner. But like I said earlier...
