Cherokee Strip Museum in Perry, Oklahoma is a neat place to visit. The Cherokee Strip is very important to the history of Oklahoma. I would encourage you to stop by and check out this cool museum. The hours of operation are altered due to the Covid 19 virus. You can still park in the parking and walk around the grounds to explore what they have on site. Get out and enjoy the beautiful places in our great state!

Very neat museum! Movie showing the land run history of the area. Displays about local history, industry, economy etc. Great place to spend a couple of hours learning. They have several buildings out back, a school, church, a home(I am pretty sure it's haunted) and an original building from the land runs. I enjoyed the entire place, would recommend to everyone.

A nice little museum which really talks about the area and not the Cherokee Indians. But it does talk about the school, early life/frontier times, etc. and it had a few Items which belonged to some Indian people. The Ladies were nice and helpful. The Museum does give a Veteran a Free Entrance into the museum if I remember correctly.

Super rude and unpleasant staff at the Rose Hill School. They give you the run around for a year and ultimately deny you a visit saying they're already booked on a day that we actually booked on their website... I'm pretty sure they're racist against Black people. We've been waiting for a long time to book this trip because it seemed like a great, educational field trip. Obviously, we're not wanted so we'll go elsewhere. I'm sure the visit would've been disappointing with the way you ladies act, so thank you for saving us a...

Fantastic place to take your class. School as it was when our state was just beginning. Truly an educational activity. You can also visit as a family, you just won't be able to participate in school. Next door is a wonderful museum and a working blacksmith exhibition. You will need to call or visit the media sites to know when the blacksmith exhibit is open and working. Great open area under trees between museum and school. Let the kids run free and play on old school merry go round. Right off of...
