Beautiful old stone two lane bridge over the Wissahickon Creek. Here the creek runs roughly northwest to southeast and the bridge is roughly perpendicular (I could be a little off). There's a parking lot and trailhead on the northeastern end and access to Forbidden Drive on the southwestern. On a nice day traffic can move a little slow between the stop at the foot of the bridge on the southwestern end and people crossing Bells Mill Road on Forbidden Drive or the trail. There is no shoulder or sidewalk, so it can be a little difficult crossing the creek on foot or bicycle. There are two parking lots on either side of the bridge that reduce the need for foot traffic. The aforementioned one to the northeast is just off the bridge and is within sight of the creek. The other one is to the southwest of the bridge and is perhaps 150 yards from Forbidden Drive. You can walk along the road down to the Drive or take a trail that starts at the end of the lot.
