Central Green — Attraction in Philadelphia

Wow, what a cool place! This park in the middle of The Navy Yard and was designed by the same group that did NYC's High Line as well as the Race Street Pier in Philly. It's a beautiful space with made up of circles with different features (bocce courts, ping pong tables, picnic tables, etc.) encircled by a .2 mile running track.

We met here for a classic Saturday of Bocce and Brunch. We setup at some tables and chairs in the shade, had a great spread and enjoyed a few rounds of bocce. The park is beautiful and was not crowded. There is plenty of parking and the public restrooms were great. What are you waiting for,...

Beautiful park! Located inside the Navy Yard. They have an area filled hammocks and chairs to relax. There are bunch of activities for everyone such as ping pong table and bocce.
