Dr. David Nazarian and team are an incredible group of professionals. I am so grateful to have been referred to Dr. Nazarian from one of his amazing physician peers. From the moment I met Dr. Nazarian, I felt at ease. He instilled trust immediately and provided a clear understanding of what I should expect. A true professional and gentleman and master of his craft. Dr. Nazarian is gifted and kind- a rare combination, for sure! If you are lucky enough to be under his care, breathe easy and know you are being cared for by the best!!
The ladies at check in are very kind. The waiting room was full, yet they exhibited patience and kindness.
Ryan Fletcher and Ryan Mackiewicz are complete Rockstars. I felt very comfortable as they are proficient, professional, highly skilled, accessible, and warm. They welcome you with the smile of a dear friend and were with me every step of the way.
Michelle Viola is awesome. She reviewed optional dates, reviewed every step and laid out a clear road map for me. She prepared a folder to keep everything together for me, especially documenting important phone numbers, addresses and procedural expectations. Her office is continually busy yet she took the time to answer any and all questions I had. Her expertise is apparent and appreciated.
The Rothman Surgical facility is knocked out gorgeous. I wish I could remember the name of the sweet woman who checked me in. She had a smile that lit up a room. And I laughed when I was offered a restaurant grade menu for lunch post- procedure. It is truly a first class facility.
The nurses were amazing. And Dr. Banner, my anesthesiologist, had the floor laughing with his light-hearted banter. What a gem.
For someone who is typically not inclined to write reviews, I had to take a moment to thank Dr. Nazarian, Ryan Fletcher, Ryan Mackiewicz, Michelle Viola and the entire team. I am so grateful to each and every one of you for your care. You are truly the best. Thank you a...
Read moreMy regular surgeon was away on vacation and unavailable. I had been experiencing increased incidents of weakness of my left leg and needed to find out if it was something to do with my 16 year old total hip replacement or whether it was a lower back issue. The clinical team made the suggestion to see Robert Di Lucas, who was the nurse practitioner working with my surgeon, Bill Hozack and he was available that day for an appointment.
I took the appointment, only waited about 15 minutes before I was seen, an x-ray was taken, and Robert spent about 30 minutes meticulously going over the difference between the current x-ray and one from several years ago. The result was we detected some movement in the implant and he thought that perhaps surgery might be indicated.
As an additional option, he mentioned that the surgeon who performs those kinds of procedures happen to be available at that moment and would I like to have him come in for an additional consult. I agreed and was. delighted to meet the celebrated Dr. David Nazarian, who was kind enough to dedicate a little over 40 minutes of his time in an extremely detailed and enlightening discussion of all my choices about how to proceed. As a result, I learned that the pain I was experiencing was in fact hip related. At the current time, it wasn’t severe enough to warrant any immediate surgery, and he offered the option that at any time in the future I wished to have surgery that would be possible.
I have been going to Rothman for various sports related injuries over the years and have absolutely been totally satisfied with not only the results, but all of the processes that lead up to the solution to the problem. They have the best teams, the best nurses and technicians, the best facilities, and certainly the best orthopedic surgeons anywhere around the area. I highly recommend anyone suffering from joint related illnesses to go to Rothman for your evaluation. They are...
Read moreI previously had a bad first experience with my foot. I was having problems with my neck and was referred there again. Decided to give them another chance. When I scheduled my appointment I was asked to bring the disk for my MRI. When I came for my appointment I had to get an X-ray. And had to pay 20.00. I already had an X-ray done and if I was asked to bring it I would have. Met with the doctor who was personable and good. He did think surgery was the best solution but was willing to do shots if I wanted. Surgery date was scheduled but due to family issue I asked to reschedule. I was given a new date.
When I went to my pre op testing they said the appointment t was cancelled due to surgery being cancelled. I said it was rescheduled and not cancelled. They took me but stared the operation date was not entered in system. I called while I was at pre op appointment. I was called by scheduler who Stated that the new appointment given the surgeon was not scheduled there that date . They could not explain why the appointment was given if the doctor was not going to be there. I either had to keep the original date or the end of May. Both of which were an issue as I already made arrangements for the new date I was given.
I was already nervous about the surgery and Rothman staff did not make me feel any better about it. Doctor Kaye is a Good doctor and highly rated but the staff here are concerning and do not make one feel confident. It’s more like a corporation and less like a a...
