Lighthouse Field — Attraction in Philadelphia

I made sure to sleep on the frustration I experienced yesterday on this field, playing Lighthouse SC Blue Rebels. It's disheartening that in 2023 racism, prejudice & biases get in the mix of a children's soccer game. I'm the parent of a child on a talented inner city soccer team & this was our 2nd game against Lighthouse where the referees FAVORED the Blue Rebels into a win by PENALTY SHOTS because our team was dominating them on the field. Each game we lost by 1 point. 🤔 How tragic is it that racist go out of their way to make young Black & Brown children feel as though that didn't do enough? That is the epitome of systemic racism.
