We took our daughter to the Please Touch Museum to see the Doc McStuffins exhibit they are currently featuring. There is street parking along the street in front of the museum or paid parking in the museums lot. They had an offer for free admission for military families so our admission was entirely free which was great! They were also doing free ice cream for National Ice Cream Day for a period of time that day.
The museum itself is in a beautiful, historical building. It was pretty breathtaking when you walk in and is kind of surprising as a children's museum. We got our tickets online so we just had to wait in a fairly short line to have them scanned.
There are 2 levels of exhibits with elevators, stairs, and ramp access. The lower level had an Alice in Wonderland exhibit that, being a HUGE fan, I loved! The "painting the roses red" activity was very cute and not something I'd seen before. There was an area for children 3 and under, which there are several of around the museum. Further into the lower level there is an arts room and at the end are areas set up as a bank, grocery store, restaurants, etc. There were tons of accessories for the kids to play with. Unfortunately a lot of the accessories had been scattered across the whole museum despite the signs requesting items be kept in their areas. They do close the areas to restock the items several times throughout the day which is nice.
The upper level had the Doc exhibit, outdoors/space exhibit, car repair, water table areas, a block building area, and a beautifully maintained carousel. They provided waterproof vests for the water play area which is really nice. The carousel is an extra fee, but you get unlimited rides so if your kiddo loves them then it's worth it.
If you're able, I would recommend visiting on a weekday. It was pretty busy being Saturday, but there were enough exhibits to spread the crowd around. I think this whole museum is geared more towards 5 and under ideally. There were plenty of bigger kids there, but they kind of overtook a lot of the areas so littler kids had a harder time getting involved. There were also a lot of kids who weren't being monitored very well. That isn't any fault of the museum, but did inhibit my soft spoken 3 year olds ability to get an opportunity with some of the toys.
The museum is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff were all lovely and it was definitely worth the visit. If you have a younger child or one that's less aggressive at getting involved I would try and go at a...

The management is spending a lot on the website to attract visitors, but the actual facility is one of the worst we’ve seen.
Remember, you’re paying Disneyland or Universal Studio-level ticket prices at this museum—but the experience is nothing like them. It’s a complete waste.
It’s honestly ridiculous to see where all the ticket and membership money is going—there are no noticeable improvements, and the condition of the museum continues to decline.
Our visit to the Please Touch Museum was honestly very disappointing. The space is quite small—you can see everything in just 1 hour —and many exhibits and toys were either broken or poorly maintained. Staff didn’t seem to care much about the environment or cleanliness.
The place felt chaotic. Kids were shouting, fighting, and running around uncontrollably. Even we as parents felt overwhelmed and tired trying to manage in such a noisy, unstructured space. What was meant to be a fun outing just left us feeling drained and frustrated.
The museum felt closed-in, stuffy, and suffocating, with an unpleasant smell in certain areas that made it even harder to enjoy. It definitely didn’t feel like a clean or calming space for young kids.
We ended up spending $112 on day passes and parking alone, which is shockingly close to the $166 membership—and neither feels worth the value offered. For the price, the experience is not worth it at all. Realistically, it felt like a $5–$10 value, not something worth paying full price for—or getting a membership. If you’re curious, I’d only recommend visiting on free ACCESS days or the $2 Wednesday evenings. There’s free street parking nearby, which is a plus.
Unless the museum makes serious improvements in how it’s maintained and managed, I wouldn’t recommend spending money here. I truly hope the management listens to feedback and works to create a better, more enjoyable experience...
Read moreI recently took my daughter and son to the Please Touch Museum, and we had an absolute blast! It's a fantastic place to spend quality time with your kids, offering a variety of engaging, sensory activities that will keep them happily occupied. There’s so much to do, it's almost overwhelming in the best way.
Hands-On Exhibits and Activities The museum has two full floors packed with fun. The bottom floor is full of interactive exhibits, including a dedicated arts and crafts room and tons of toys like giant building blocks. One of the biggest highlights is the giant play grocery store where kids can load up carts with pretend food and even scan items at the register. It's an adorable and very popular exhibit! Other attractions include a playhouse with a kitchen, a yard with toy lawnmowers, and a water play area.
Another highlight for our family was the carousel ride, which added an extra dose of fun. The museum is a great way to beat the heat while the kids are playing and exploring.
Food and Other Amenities The museum also has a cafeteria. While the menu is a bit limited and prices are on the higher side, it's about what you'd expect for a place like this, with options like pizza, french fries, burgers, and snacks.
We also found the tickets to be very affordable, and they even offer a cheaper price for those on government assistance.
A Memorable Ending One of the most memorable parts of the day was right before closing. The staff gathered the remaining kids and parents for a big parade march from the bottom floor to the top, followed by a fun dance party for everyone. It was such a fun and memorable way to end our visit!
Overall, I highly recommend the Please Touch Museum for a fun,...
