
Visiting this Japanese house was like being magically transported back to Kyoto, Japan. If you are even mildly interested in classical Japanese architecture, landscaping or esthetics- I highly recommend a visit.
We were fortunate enough to visit while there were still some cherry blossoms on the trees.
The garden surrounding the house was sublime. I just wish I had more time to sit quietly and contemplate the home and its grounds. I suppose some people might make a brief visit- 30-60 minutes. However, I think it would have been wonderfully appropriate to allocate more time, sit and compose haiku.

Having traveled to Japan, this garden is certainly not worth visiting and spending your time and money elbowing your way through people who have no respect or interest in being in a zen atmosphere. The pagoda, the most interesting area, was closed visited (which is not mentioned on the website or outside the gardens).
