We absolutely LOVED our experience at Treetop Quest! If you are looking for a team building activity or just fun for the family this is it. We had a reservation for Sunday but when we got there daughter #1 was very sick to her stomach. Ugh, I thought moving our reservation would be difficult. But no! Not with Treetop- we walked up asked to move our reservation and they made it for that Friday. No arguing no pleading just “no problem see you Friday!” So right away I was like ok this place is good. That Friday we go- the “blue shirts” (as they ask you to call them)were very knowledgeable and made you immediately feel comfortable and safe. You learn how to use the equipment and practice with a guide. It’s easy to learn and there’s always someone around to ask questions or get assistance. There are 5 main courses 1, 2A,2B,3,4. You can skip around we went in order bc we were beginners. Each course gets harder 4 being the absolute hardest. Course 3 is only zip lines so people jump to that right off but we did the courses before bc honestly they’re all a blast. Plus you can do courses multiple times. We did 2A twice and 3 twice. My husband and I did 4 - I am very active and pretty strong and this course was a challenge but it was SO FUN! Food and drinks: you can bring water and leave it on a bench or table. I advise you to do this since you’ll definitely be thirsty when you’re zipping around. Food you can pack and eat at the picnic tables by the hut where you check in. It’s great to bring something and take a break to eat. There are lockers to rent for $5 so you can keep your keys purse whatever safe and not worry about losing anything. If you have a chance go go go! It’s so much fun! We can’t...
Read moreI honestly love visiting this spot. I've been there now twice with my work fam' for some good ol' team bonding (yes, it works). It's a beautiful experience & adventure hidden in the cut of Fairmount Park. The staff immediately made us feel welcome and cared for (5 star customer service). We were led through a complete safety session and practice course (low level). Safety is important to them, and this made us feel even safer. There are four different courses of skill levels. One of them is mostly zip-lining, so if you're just looking to slide through the canopy, that's an option. Course 4 is challenging but doable, and they'll offer you tips if you really need them. There's a guide on the ground at all times, ensuring everyone is OK and still having fun. We went at the end of April, so the bugs weren't bad, and the bees (yes, there's carpenter bees) were friendly and preoccupied with doing what bees do. You can try as many courses as you'd like in your alloted time, and that could be cool if you just wanna do the zipline course a few times while other folks explore. I wasn't too sore afterward, but I wouldn't plan on taking a bike ride out there and back. Oh yeh, they do have porta-potty's and they are clean.
All in all, they have a crazy great staff, super safety first, good for all skill levels, solid scenery, & dumb fun. If you haven't, you should so you can say you have.
Last tip: PURCHASE THE GLOVES. You can thank me later for that one. Or, don't buy em and lemme know how...
Read moreThis was a unique experience to say the least. I have had a lot of experience with rope courses and zip lining, but this was a bit dysfunctional. I started on level 2A or 2B and finished very quickly. Went to level 4 and they should have given a disclaimer that there are like 7 obstacles and they all are swinging. I got a panic attack after getting stuck halfway on a zip line in the heat. The staff could not hear me screaming my heart out for help and I was fortunate that someone on a lower level redirected the staff to me. While I appreciate the staff member that rescued me, I wish I was given the option to get off immediately rather than finish the course while I was exhausted and in pain (the swinging obstacles hit me in the ankles). The staff member mentioned at the end that he could have brought me down, but for some reason thought I wanted to continue the course? The staff did not help me walk up the hill or contact any of my party members. I almost passed out walking up the steep hill and the rope railings were too low to the ground to provide me support.
Weirdly enough I may return to try the other level 2 and 3.
Please have staff members check in on anyone going on level 4 (maybe halfway or something), have a mini map of what to expect on each level, and disclaim to climbers that level 4 has a lot of swinging platforms and requires a lot of...
