Read moreOf all of the historic homes, or mansions, in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, I love the exterior of Laurel Hill Mansion the most. Not as large as some of the other homes, the mansion still impresses you with its detail and bright exterior. The interior stuns you with its well-preserved colonial/federalist design and furniture, and the staff always brings a smile and deep knowledge with them. Definitely check this place out when its open and even just walking by and learning about the home and its history and seeing the exterior makes popping by worth it if you happen to be in the area. Great place too, to park by and walk some of the famous Boxer's Trail that...

There's a bus that goes around the park to each home so getting around to all of them is...
