This location is gorgeous. The most immediately striking detail is the swimming lake by the playground (both currently closed due to COVID.) But looking beyond those, there are multiple gorgeous wetland cells down side paths that are full of diversity of life. I grew up in the area & i'll have to say that this little beach & park hasn't changed over the years in a bad way like most places do. The community takes great care of this park and it shows. Good place to take the kids or just by yourself. Ppl do swim here although i'm not one of them. I just don't trust the water safety but they do test the water & post results.
