9/6/24 Today my husband and I indulged in some delicious dishes from Dragon Delite. I can't say enough good things about them. My husband's go to is still beef broccoli with hot and sour soup. As for myself, I had beef lo mein and crab rangoon. I am always blown away by how fresh the ingredients are. The chef expertly creates such a balance of flavors and a perfect ratio of meats, vegetables, and carbs. Overall dinner was a 10/10!
12/11/23 Food is still so good! Freshly made and piping hot. Tastes delicious too!
Edit: Food is still great. I got beef broccoli, general tso, hot and sour soup, and Chinese donuts. Food was made to order, hot, and delicious! I also want to state that practically every restaurant has had to raise their prices. The cost of utilities, rent, ingredients, etc. have all gone up. As patrons of restaurants we don't only choose restaurants because of the food we crave. Support local businesses. Support small business owners.
I dropped by today for General Tsu's and vegetable lo mein. I am a big fan of crispy chicken that's slightly on the sweet side and this definitely hit the spot. The vegetable lo mein was also excellent. There is an equal ratio of vegetables to noodles. Most places only put cabbage, onions, and carrots. However, Dragon Delite included bean sprouts, mushrooms, baby corn, brocolli, and more. The food wasn't greasy or heavy but felt quite light.
Service here was good as well. Beyond friendly! I will definitely be...
Read more1st time eating here, I got shrimp fried rice. It was flavorful, hot, and freshly prepared, and I enjoyed it. 5 stars for service because I needed a moment to decide what I wanted, and the woman who took my order was patient, gave me time, and made helpful suggestions. I never really felt rushed, nor did any upselling occur. Atmosphere gets a 3/5 because you are stopped from entering the establishment at the door and so I can't see how clean it is, how it looks inside, etc. only the door and covid- healthcheck set up outside of the front door. I will say they are expensive for all intents and purposes, I paid $18+ for a quart of shrimp fried rice, a canned Dr. Pepper and a complimentary fortune cookie. I did remark that it was a nice portion size ( however, the price should be a little lower). Prices seem to be most accurately between $13-30. 4/5 because of pricing and atmosphere situation. I'd grab food...
Read moreThis has been my go to Chinese restaurant in the area. The food was always made to order, hot and plentiful. They also made authentic Chinese dishes. Under new management the menus has changed tremendously. It no longer has the variety and authenticity of the old menu. The size of the chicken wings and the size of the shrimp were smaller. The menu advertises whole chicken wings, but what I received was pieces. I did not see any dishes with snow peas or mushrooms. Nothing Szechuan on the menu. The food was fresh and good, but not over the top good. I asked for my broccoli shrimp to be spicy, it was pretty mild. The ginger /garlic flavor of the wings was mild. The staff was pleasant and the food was ready for take out when they said. I guess I will hike over to Buford Highway for authentic Chinese...
