Retail Will-Call Pickup Review - I chose a warehouse pickup to save the 5 days it would take to do an in store pickup. This location is not intended for retail purchase pickups. They are focused on shipping and receiving by the truck load. I know this now and want to caution anyone who is attempting to save time by picking up at the warehouse that it is an extremely frustrating experience. It took over an hour to get genuine help and from arrival to actually picking up up my microwave the process took 1.5 hours and I was the only customer there. I arrived at 8:07 to an empty reception window with a phone that indicates to pick it up to get help. The phone rings 5 times and then hangs up. When someone does answer, they either say they will help but do nothing or tell you to talk to someone in the office and unfortunately the office is empty. After two separate people took down my order number and license details leading me to believe I was actually being helped I resorted to yelling through the glass window asking to ask if anyone was actually working. Another woman came to the window and instructed me that I had to use the provided phone to speak to the warehouse in order to get help. After explaining that I had tried that for the past 40 minutes she nervously took down my information again and said she would go to the warehouse to have someone come out to help me. This happened two more times over the next 40 minutes before someone on the other side of the phone said that there would be someone at the loading bay to give me my microwave.
If you have unlimited time and patience then you can save a few days at the expense of more than an hour of pulling your hair out to pick up your purchase yourself. However, I highly recommend against it. Opt for in-store pickup or delivery for a better and more...

My original appointment 09-02-21 was the day after the flood but the warehouse was not accepting loads till Friday. I notified broker and they said I would get unloaded 09-07-21 and now they’re telling me Friday the 10th. I notified broker I’m taking this load home to Tx due to a doctors appointment and they replied “ that’s fine if that’s what I want to do to do so”. So I’m assuming the customer or broker don’t really care about their product so on my way to Tx it is. I tired to contact the customer but the number they have listed is a machine in NY and guards are less help since they want me to have a new appointment time. In fact, It wasn’t even available from the manufacturer. Nearly $600 was taken from our checking account and product was not available. Where did our funds go/what were they doing for Best Buy for the 2 weeks that they were out of our account? Buyer be aware of unethical business practices.
