So i was a regular shopper at super fresh irvington until i moved to middlesex, this store is 2mins from my house and i was super excited when it opened. I became a frequent shopper (at least once weekly) Selection of food, fruits, veggies is great! Now why did i give 1 star? On several visits here while attempting to purchase cereal for my baby, i noticed the cereal was expired, this happened in february and march, on both occassions i complained to the staff asking why expired product was on the shelf, and an asian man (who is guess is in charge) responded, stating that it was on sale. I said to him "theres no reason expired baby food should be on the shelf even if its on sale" he basically shrugged off. Today is 30th april and theres still baby cereal that expires 04/24 on the shelf. I am writing this review because unlike me some people dont check expiry dates of products in the store and i dont blame them because you would expect a store to have some integrity and discipline. So shoppers be careful, check expiry dates of their products. Since i have brought this to their attention and nothing was done about it, i will be forwarding this complaint to the state...
Read moreI had liked this store not sure now it seems the SKUs are always incorrect for sale items posted on the shelf then I get a blank stare from the cashier saying the price is wrong they don't understand what I'm trying to say
The next thing is I was charged tax on small dinner rolls for some reason the large rolls are not taxed so there's an error in the system whomever does it there is no tax on food in New Jersey if it's not prepared take out
The next thing is there was an advertisement for a prosciutto di Parma $5.99 usually this is per pound but there was a small price in the corner of the flyer that said it was a 1/4 lb well they didn't have it anyway but were substituting a lesser quality product but for the same $5.99 for a Quarter pound but the price of this prosciutto was about $19 a pound so a quarter pound should have been $4.75 so how could you be substituting and charging the higher price why don't you just put the price of that item in so I could save $1.25 there's a lot of mismanagement in the store if it doesn't change they will be out of business like the last two stores before them

Read moreHUGE SELECTION of food wow. This is a brand new store and it's an amazing grocery store, gigantic inside. I can't stress the huge selection they have enough. Large, very large produce section and large meat department. This might be the most amazing grocery store I've ever seen. I think it's bigger than ShopRite in Bound Brook. It's called Superfresh and it's on Lincoln Blvd in Middlesex NJ. I've been there twice already and it just opened ha ha. They sell big grocery bags for $1 each if you forget to bring some with you. Happy eating! Update: Went again today. I love their huge selection of meats and produce, yikes, a big section for both. They have everything. They had two giant dinosaur statues but I forgot to check if they were still there today, in front of the meat department. Update 04/10/2024: Another visit today, got a rotisserie chicken on sale $5.99 normally 8.99 good sale. Got a lot of other stuff too today. The have just about everything you could imagine a grocery store should have, including a huge, huge produce section. Just a little shy on candy. In store bakery...
