Always love going to Oak Point Park. Feels like going on an adventure each time we go. Fishing is decent. I like to catch Crappie in the early part of the year. The trails are nice too. The paved paths are very nice too. Like this review if it is helpful!

Quiet, shaded, no cars. Just nature and a few walkers and a few very friendly bicycles.

Wondering about your tax dollars? The crews genuinely are good hard working people. Like other muni services it's management, and TOO MANY mgt layers ruining things. Volunteering? Elderly with degenerative spine, cancer and diabetes? God forbid after a long weedeater stretch you have to lay down a few minutes to avail your back pain in 107 degree heat. Meanwhile the crew gets to SIT on riding mowers - some air-conditioned.

Meanwhile your crew will rag on the "lazy 14 yr olds they've had". Then the crew will drive around and waste fuel and miles to burn time. Oh, and run over public electric junction boxes!

Meanwhile mgt rags on you for a short back break FAR less than driving around killing time. In this heat I understand, it's mgt basically whinning about BRIEF health breaks. Of course theyll waste 5 people's time looking at 1 thing all the time too. Tyrannical slave drivers. They're soleless people. The crews are good people.

As someone who has lived in the city my entire life, I find it incredibly disappointing that I can’t enjoy my hobbies in the local parks: -No soccer (or sport activities in general) on public soccer/sports fields without paying money and reserving. -No slacklining/tethering of any kind even if they’re connected to the biggest and deepest-rooted trees or man-made structures CLEARLY capable of withstanding the tensile forces.

It’s not just me, I periodically see kids and adults getting kicked off the fields as they’re having fun. Why do we even pay even pay city taxes if we cannot enjoy the simplicity of a kick around on a beautiful day?

I haven’t been this disappointed since Game of Thrones season 8.

If we want to have fun, we can apparently do so on the anthill-riddled fields that are neglected, unkempt, and not ever used for organized sports because of low-quality they are. That is, if you can even locate...
