Cass County Fairgrounds — Attraction in Pleasant Hill

Went for the tractor pull. Staff needs to be more athorative when directing people where to park. Was glad to see this year they offered a military discount. Sadly not many people entered the tractor pull this year. Not sure why. Hoping for a better turn out next year. One major complaint is they only had one vendor inside the tractor pull area. This lead to very long lines, no selection or variety, and the poor over worked vendor ran out of pretty much everything before the event was half over. An over all complaint is even when you have access to all the food vendors they do not sell fair food. I refer to the deep fried everything or anything for that matter. They have bbq hamburgers hotdogs. If your lucky corn dogs. Absolutely over priced for what you get but I guess that comes...

Much smaller than in the past. Saturday afternoon and NOTHING going on at the fair grounds. Downtown has buildings and exhibits to see, a band and a few booths. Counting the car show, 2 and a half hours max. Then nothing at the fair grounds until evening. Hard to imagine it is worth it for the carnival to even come. Numbers on the entries down too. Lots less photos, practically no baked goods, less plants. Maybe more advertising the fair would help? I almost missed it thinking it would be next week. Glad I looked...

I personally felt, ride wise, this was a good year, older kid and adult rides, mixed with the younger ones. My wife in laws and I took our three kids, we all had fun the grounds were muddy in locations, we know this area floods, however not where it was muddy, also haven't had much rain lately. Great fair this year though, would also like to see...
