Alameda County Fairgrounds — Attraction in Pleasanton

After going here my whole life I will NEVER BE RETURNING! This place heavily discriminates against people with disabilities and has no common medical knowledge at all. My boyfriend was in a motorcycle accident over a year ago that left his right arm paralyzed. Me and my boyfriend have gone to the beach board walk and road many attractions without any problems. At the fair they turn us away from the haunted house and the swings. No one wanted to talk to us and let us explain our situations. On the ride the ride rules state and I quote “ you cannot ride the ride with recent injuries and broken bones” none of which my boyfriend has. We then got escorted by security which was so embarrassing all the way to the office. We then explained our situation and they were happy to give us a stamp and even took a photo of him to send to all the ride operators. 10 mins after we tried to go on the merry go round we were then refused entry but we didn’t back down we told the ride operator to check his phone and then he ended up calling someone. A lady working at a nearby stand saw this and immediately corrected him and showed him the message his boss had sent to everyone saying he is ok to ride the rides. Moral of the story we spent 80 dollars on wristbands to get belittled the entire time and escorted by security to the office like it was our fault. We were never offered a refund and not even an apology. One of the workers (the one at the haunted house) slammed the gate in our face then started laughing at us and waving bye. After leaving the fair last night we go to the car, and found out that my lady had lost her car keys. We had to walk all the way back to the concert area, and it was already closed. three male, and two female park officers tried everything that they could to help us. the even had a guy open the gate for us and we all looked around the area, but no keys to be found. We did not know what we were going to do. My lady lives in Oakland and I live in Antioch - Remember - She didn't have her house keys - Then to top things off we got lost trying to find the right gate. we followed every line in the park except the right one. It was 2am by the time that we got to the right gate. Just before we got to the gate, the man would opened the gate for us came up to us and called his office to checkout if they found the key, he also went beyond the call of duty. Well nothing happened so we get to the gate and this security guard by the name of Steve asked us if we had lost some VW keys - our jaws hit the ground - I asked Steve if they could bring the keys to us, since we were dead tired. 5 minutes later we had the keys in our hands - We want to thank everybody that assisted us - You guys were truly a blessing - But Steve the Security Guard at the end of the green line - We love you - You came to us and asked - We probably would have walked right by you. I just witnessed the most incredible drone and fireworks show! The synchronization of the drones with the music was perfect, creating patterns and shapes in the sky that left everyone breathless. The fireworks added a magical touch, illuminating the sky with dazzling colors and shapes.

The organization and execution of the show were impeccable, with attention to detail that was noticeable every moment. The excitement and enthusiasm of the crowd were palpable, and I myself felt thrilled and amazed by the beauty of the show.
