Ponce Mall — Attraction in Ponce

The place is an incredibly old mall. And I mean Decades old. And it has stayed that way for decades. The infrastructure is really small and limited. there aren't that many shops left mostly very generic clothing and jewelry shops. So you will notice a lot of empty vacant spaces for rent. There's an internet cafe, but it's just a casino for seniors. Idk, why they call it an internet cafe.

The only people that go here are seniors that don't know how to pay their bills online or by phone. Mostly to pay their cable and internet bill. The rest of the place is just very empty and barren.

There's a TJ max and Ikea. But the selection on both places are very odd. The owner really needs to get with the times and try to get more modern stores in here and also expand the place. Because there's not much of a reason to come here. And the place is very narrow and limited. Almost claustrophobic.

There's also a small petshop there to check out. If the owner really wants to keep this decades old place running. He needs to step up. Because as it is, I don't see this place staying open for long. Especially in 2025. When there are better places like plaza del caribe, centro del sur and there's also a big Walmart center...

Puedo decir muchas cosas desde los empleado de mantenimiento q no parecen empleados ya q no esta bien uniformado y parece q ese mall no necesita limpieza ya q uno vez a los empleados caminando con las escoba como si fuera un acróbata o batutera ya q uno por poko me da con la escoba platicando su batutera los jardines abandonados al parecer q hay no tienen supervisor de mantenimiento ya q he podido ver a ellos estar reunidos en el centro de mall sentado en una banca más de 2 horas hablando los cristales todos sucios pero todos en la parte de atrás fíjense en el techo por la parte de atrás donde es la área de descarga el techo ya tiene plantas creciendo en los desagües y ahora se ha cerca la temporada de huracanes y por dentro parece un desierto ya q la mitad de el mall está vacío tiene mucho locales vacíos por algo será y estacionamiento esta con demasiado hoyos q los drones anaranjados no le da al perece para poder tapar lo hoyos y así nadie pueda caer y se le dañe alguna pieza del carro el techo por dentro todos los plafones sucios o mojados parece q tienen un colador por techo y para terminar digo y seguiré diciendo q hay conflicto de interés por personas q trabajan y son familiares de la administración y por eso defienden a uno q ha hecho muchas cosas q hasta evidencia hay en el baño ya q lleva varios años y no han arreglado el roto q tiene el baño de hombre en la área de donde se cambian los bebe tiene un roto q parece un tiro y la loseta también con esto termino por q si sigo es bien largo y nunca...

The place was kind of quiet probably because it was almost time for most stores to close for the day. I went to the Liberty office to reconnect my cable programming. They were excellent with their Covid prevention procedures and the representative that took care of me was very helpful and very professional. The mall was generally clean. I liked it...
