Hanuman Express — Restaurant in Poplar Bluff

Walked through the door for my first experience in this restaurant to wait 10 minutes for a lady in the kitchen to walk out and say she isn’t our maid when we asked if we could seat ourselves instead of just replying yes. The food was absolutely rancid. Our cups were lined in mold the sweet and sour sauce served to us was rotten she never came back to collect the money tell us our total or check on us one time. 10/10 do not recommend the building is FILTHY and the food is down right disgusting. This place is located downtown and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you dine in, the atmosphere is such that you feel as though you wandered into your eccentric great-aunt's attic and got a sneak peek at all of her treasures that she acquired over a lifetime. Fascinating! You could probably eat every meal here for a week and still find something new to look at that likely has a story behind it. To top it off, the food is delicious and very reasonably priced....

Unique. Good food. Incredibly funky. Go. Go now. But call first to make sure they are open. :-)
