It is Great! Portage has so many nice parks and they keep them up nicely. Except one park where, (not sure if it was kids or radicals) but they went into the bathrooms and took a sledge hammer or something and broke the sink off the wall and broke half the porsilin toilet. So the Park and Recreation department will close that park down at last for now. I hope they catch the person or persons who did this and make them do community service and pay for the damage...

Great place morbid history originally clay sink hole. Newly weds in the 30's perished here but Newly renovated and a stocked crystal clear pond with fountain with an uncanny blue hue to the water. You would not be disappointed for a get togather with a beautiful pavilion looking over the pond restrooms and a playground for young ones also attached is the wisconsin river with stunning views bring your celebrating atmosphere bit don't forget your...

The park is beautiful but not overseen by anyone professional. Not only can smokers smoke in and around shelters but there are no signs to show if a shelter is reserved and according to the website its reserved "all day" which makes for awkwardness by people in the community when being asked to leave because 4 people at one nench outside the pavillion are there. Who doesn't have a sign?? QR code to check status?? Its not even listed on...

My Kids love the Playground here, with the Raft swing, and Rocking Pirate Ship. The Grounds, Pond, and Trail that winds around it are quite lovely, particularly when all the flowers are in bloom. A small park, that packs a lot of Character. Great Place for Pictures to be Taken. Also next to the Wisconsin River, right by where some nice Sandbars consistantly form during the summer months, that you can Easily access right from shore.

I love taking photos of nature and beautiful things, so Pauquette Park was really fun! You can also have a lot of events like graduation parties or family reunions in the party shelters, or even a wedding in the grass by the beautiful pond and fountain. There's also a park for kids to play on. Pauquette Park does not allow pets.

Got off the interstate and decided to check this town out. Not a bad little town. It's definitely Hicksville as people were driving tractors through town. This park is right when you come into town. Definitely a cute place. If I'd had more time I'd have explored it a little more. If you live here, this would be the place to go.
