Faubion Playground — Attraction in Portland

We feel so fortunate to have this space for our 800+ students & families, and we are excited to share it with visitors and our neighbors!

If you read other reviewers, you'll note that there is an ongoing issue with left-behind trash (food wrappers, bandaids, single-use party supplies, etc)

We appreciate each community member who, when they see something that needs to go into the trash, then picks it up and puts it into the trash cans located near the building entrances! 👏👏

Very cool park with plenty of fun things to do , including two zip lines, that was actually the reason why we went there . You can't go when the school is open and dogs are not allowed. There is also a basketball court in the shade and a big grass area to run around. The park looks new and very well landscaped . The only negative thing is that I found some trash left around, maybe it would be helpful to add a trash bin by the playground for the ones who can't be bothered to walk back to the one...

Lots of different activities for kids, including the very fun zip lines. There's also a "maze" of steel poles that kids can use in a variety of ways, in addition to standard playground stuff like slides, monkey bars, swings, etc. The only downsides are 1) it can be quite crowded at times (especially in summer) and 2) people bring an inordinate amount of illiterate dogs who somehow can't read the numerous "no dogs" signs.
