2024 update. Go get this magical breakfast. Or a lunch treat called harvest toast. The fall. It's recommended to add bacon for salty crunch. That is the most delicious thing!
This is my local coffee shop, and I absolutely love this place!! I suffer from a bit of social anxiety, and this place is just so welcoming and tasty and so close to my house. I love pushing myself to go out to it .....And it's a nice little walk!
Don't underestimate their food and drinks either! The food is so yummy and satisfying and feels good because it's made from high quality and food fresh ingredients. You can taste it and feel it and see it. The people that work there and the atmosphere is just really inviting and calming and fun. It feels like just your neighborhood coffee shop. The way it should be.
It's also nestled underneath a small apartment courtyard? that has this beautiful garden next to it (very pretty to look at), and it's all a small two story building with the coffee shop, being in the bottom story on street level.... in the parking space out front, they've added a deck with extra seating. Probably because they're succeeding so well.
There is indoor seating as well. That is very casual. Go, go, go get to meets and have a good time.
I promise to add some better photos...
Read moreReally wonderful food. Big fan of GF/V options. Unflavorful and very very weak coffee though. We tried three lattes and the chai was weakest â Legitimately not sure if any chai made it in or if it was just milk. Overall felt pricey for a lackluster experience, but very cute and welcoming set up for ordering which is lovely. Seating heavily relied on natural light, so the half of the seating next to the kitchen was pretty under lit. Friendly and helpful staff saved the experience overall.
**Edited based on companyâs response.
This review was not about my friendâs experience as you stated almost initially, but they did in fact vocalize in discussion with someone that their drink tasted of milk â Either needed to be spicier or stronger. At that point it was offered that they could just order something else. We didnât want to switch; we didnât even want to get a third one. That was entirely at your leisure. We had actually only asked for the drink to be disposed of.
This isnât somehow our fault as your response implies. I donât even have a preference for âstrongerâ coffee, the flavor was okay but the taste of coffee at all simply wasnât there. So it was warm flavored milk, three times.
Thank you for your very thorough explanation about...
Read moreI want you to imagine the Hamptons with a bit of european posh and the Irish green thumb with a PNW style that is one of a kind. That's what Kiss Coffee is. I also found out they serve food.
It was afternoon, but biscuits and Gravy is what I ordered on my walk home. You can order right at the window, and they have this table outside.
What I want to draw your attention to is the photos. This place looks like it could be out of Notting Hill. Whoever did the artwork, Thank you for making Concordia a wonderful place to be.
I could say that the outside seating area could do with a little bit of attention. But its very much so Portland.
These are the shops and business that I love to see blossom.
Portland use to be FULL of these places all tucked up inside just a walk away from your house. And it should be our duty to keep these places ours and alive and with the families that run them for the future generations.
My hope is that the 2 buildings adjacent to it follow the same recipe and find something that complements the same vibe that this place has.
Something like a Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium would be a nice fit. Something with Model Trains would be a nice fit too. What...
