My friends got married in this little garden a few weeks ago. I hadn't been here previously and it was such a treat to experience such a little gem of a park! At midday most of the garden was in the shade. Even thought it was blazing hot that day, I felt really comfortable. There were so many beautiful plants blooming, and the garden smelled lovely! We saw several hummingbirds buzzing about the flowers, and many dragonflies too. For a park right off of Powell you'd think it'd be loud, but I found it very peaceful. Read moreIf you want solitude, this is the place to go. Not that far from the main road, it is surprising to see that even on the weekend there was hardly anyone here. It doesn't really stand out when driving by from the main road which contributes to this lack of visitation.
This is a nice shaded garden in many parts with plenty of open seats to sit down on. Occasional squirrel will scurry along in search of food but that is about it. A wide variety of different plants...
