This lake has a great view, 3 long trails that you can enjoy the scenery either by walking, bike riding or boating. This lake also produce some really huge fish... all different species from Muskies to Large Mouth Bass. I gave it 4 stars because although it is a very huge lake... you can loose lots of fishing gear getting caught on whatever there is to get caught on in the water.

11/11/2021: Had a beautiful day hiking on D&R Canal by the lake today. Fall foliage was still very colorful. Scroll down for more of my pictures taken today. Beautiful lake with the D&R Canal by the side. Good for hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking...And the trail is pretty shady. I will go for more hikes in the near future.

I love this lake. Honestly they need a few things though. The dock should have something to be able to tie a boat to. If you don't have a boat you can just lift out of the water or have a friend to help then it makes it extremely difficult putting a boat in and out of the water. Secondly, the pollution... there isn't that many people, why do you have to throw trash on the ground you dirty sons of........bleep...

A large lake that borders Princeton. The lake is part of the canal system that connects the Delaware River near Trenton with the Raritin River in New Brunswick. Lots of people, especially Princeton University students can be seen running, biking the tow path. The tow path has beautiful vistas of the lake. During crew season, you'll often see the Princeton university crew...
