Town Lake Park - Whispering Farms — Attraction in Prosper

Not hiking or biking trails. Very small pond with a broken kayak dock, not worth the trouble. U can see the whole pond end to end, water level very low, lots of trash and algal blooms. There is a large side walk, large rails to contain you, takes you thru a big subdivision, you can look at enormous over-priced homes, not nature. I even ventured down what appeared to have been a dirt road to see if that led to some trails, but dead end into another mass suburban area, being built on the back side of the pond, which was also being used as a dumping ground for...

Beautiful nature close to home. Nature offers so much and it is within 30 mins drive from home. Pleasant scenery of the lake. You can relax all day long. Use your own boat in the lake or do fishing. While technically it’s a public park, it seems designed more like a green area for the surrounding estates. To get there, you have to drive through a very upscale neighborhood with mansions.
