Media Luna Beach — Attraction in Puerto Real

Beautiful beach with very calm small waves lapping up on shore. Not a lot of seaweed and gradual slope into the water. As others have stated, great for kids and also elderly that still want to get in the ocean without fear of getting tossed around and losing their balance. Picnic tables are great in case you want to bring lunch and not have to sit in the sand while eating. Also quieter than Sun Bay Beach....

It's great. If you go during summer may - Oct its a 9 and I don't say that often. Obviously it depends on what you are looking for, but if you want to lay on the water or the sand it's calm water, white sand and no wind, plus gorgeous. A few beers, a pinot grigio and you are set. This beach has eroded very far back in from the main body of the ocean and as such the water is really calm. The sand is also very dense and not particularly soft.
