Blue Beach — Attraction in Puerto Rico

Another secluded and beautiful area of Vieques. This beach was so beautiful. It's surrounded by mangroves and inside a cove that opens to the ocean. It's rocky so there isn't much space for lounging but if you like to explore the rocky coast, this is for you.

We went snorkleing here and saw many fish (of the same kind) in the shallow water. If you swim further into the ocean, there are some coral reefs (mostly very dead though, but you can see a variety of fish there). We also saw a starfish and picked some seashells. Good place to go shelling. However, comparing to the beach in Culebra, this beach has way too much seaweed and dead sea leaves..... not as stunning as Flamenco...

A long, thin stretch of white sand and clear water makes this one of the Caribbean's top beaches. Getting there is part of the adventure..this is a one of the famous beach...
