Mar Chiquita is a beautiful beach to go to and spend an entire day swimming in its shallow waters. It resembles a lagoon in a way, with just a narrow area allowing the sea to enter and leave. The rock formation that surrounds the water is rounded giving the beach that lagoon form. I had a great time climbing the rocks and viewing the beach and sea from those...

Always a dream coming here, only down fall is they don't have bathrooms. They have some porta potties but they are locked sometimes . I think you have to pay when the people in charge are there. There is a small grocery store close by so you can stop and get necessities. There is nice shade, take your hammock and enjoy. There are a couple of...

Pros: Great spot if you want to sit by the beach and relax. Great for snorkeling and climbing the rocks for a great view.

Cons: No showers on site so if you want to clean yourself you need to take your own water. Lots of rocks on the beach, getting in and swimming is not an easy task. Parking could be hard packed to avoid getting stuck....
