Las Tacas de La Chiquita — Restaurant in Manatí

Our AirBnb was minutes from this amazing place. We were only able to try it the night before our departure. You have no idea how disappointed we were that we only had a day to enjoy their food. We literally ate lunch and dinner.

Their elote is exactly what you think it should be. I cannot accurately describe how delicious their chicken chimichangas are. They are the perfect size and come with a delicious sauce to dip them in. I truly have never had a better chimi and I have had them from easily 100 different places. The chicken quesadilla was to die for.

Both young ladies at the register were helpful and (thankfully for us) spoke excellent English. Our Spanish is enough to get by but honestly horrendous. The whole atmosphere was welcoming, vibrant, just amazing. There are a few other food trucks. We didn't have time to try them out. One was a cafe, another had fries & sandwiches, the third was frappes.

If you're in Manatí GO HERE!!! You will kick yourself...

I highly recommend! We left Mar Chiquita beach with an appetite and this spot didn’t disappoint. Fairly priced. It’s a Mexican inspired fusion food truck. We ordered Taco de Dorado, Tacos de Camarones, Tacos al Pastor, Elote & Churros con Nutella and Jarritos to wash it down. They have a variety of plates and ours were delicious! A great take on Mexican food with a Puerto Rican twist. Fyi, The green salsa is Spicy with a good kick! There’s parking in or outside the gate. Plenty of seating and also a couple other food truck options, which we didn’t try. I highly recommend it and would definitely visit...

I loved the food so much I forgot to take pictures! I ate delicious elote and dorado fish tacos + coffee! Yum!

...also grabbed a bite of a delicious fried cheesecake!!

The service was very friendly from the cashier to the kitchen assistance!

The best of all is that the bathroom was very decent....
