Beautiful view but I definitely recommend water shoes since you have to climb over the rocks to get into most of the water.

Most of the beach is barricaded by rocks with a bit of sand before the rocks. The convenient spots get taken early in the afternoon so the earlier you get there, the better.

Pros: good spot for a walk. Good views of old San Juan and San Felipe Castillo. Rocks blocking the waves so there are little water pools. Cons: Road under construction getting here.
