Nice facility, new, clean but it has glaring problems for a complex that should have been designed to accommodate the general public. First, the vehicular access is terrible. For the service of the facility and its parking lot, everything feeds off a single point of access (ingress/egress). Traffic backs up horribly on a one lane exit going to a single stop light. Secondly, the auditorium seating is must be designed only for children. Seat size and space is so narrow that two adults sitting side but side is not just uncomfortable but so awkward that nearly every other adult has to sit were with their torso twisted diagonally to their seat. Thirdly, seating rows can only be accessed from the ends, meaning a third of the seats require scooting unusually long distances with your butt in people's faces. Imagine the chaos of there were ever a need for an emergency evacuation. The planning team obviously tried to get too many seats in too small a space, and laid the entire center on real estate with poor access. Sorry,...
Read moreWe attended the performance of "Dancing Queen: The Songs of Abba" at the Queen Creek Performing Art Center on Saturday, March 1st. It was our first show at the QCPAC. AND WHAT A GREAT SHOW IT WAS!! The singers were spot on! If you closed your eyes, you were right back to the late 70's listening to ABBA on FM radio. The show was not just about the music. They took the time between songs to provide background info on ABBA and their history. We learned a lot about the group and how their music is still benefiting underprivileged women today around the world. And the band was spectacular, especially the bassist. What a character! He really enjoys playing that bass! The volunteers at the entrance and throughout the venue were friendly and genuinely happy to see all us attending the show. This will not be the last show we go to. Cannot wait for the...

The venue itself is nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, they schedule multiple shows back-to-back, which creates a lot of traffic in the parking lot. It becomes very congested with so many people coming and going between events.
I understand it’s a business, but the prices for flowers, merchandise, and even trophies felt too high, especially considering this wasn’t a competition so the trophies seemed a bit unnecessary in that context.
Also, although the performance room is spacious, tickets sell out very quickly. It might be time to consider a larger venue to better accommodate...
