Update: still not having the best month and a half living here. There are so many issues where do I begin. Incorrect parking, issues with being able to use assigned parking CONSTANTLY, pet owners are not picking up their pet waste in common grass areas, off leash dogs, aggressive dogs in the community, attempted break in, unsupervised children, heavy cigarette smoking by the pool, dog park is still not complete, and there’s so many young tenants that just really don’t care around here. I’m very disappointed in my choice of choosing Evr Spur. I have yet to receive any apology still for the way I was treated by Lucinda. I waited 4 weeks for rocks because construction didn’t think it was important to fill the back yards enough for pet safety. I’m also still waiting on a back screen for my sliding glass door (was told I would have to wait 4-6 weeks for that too). This is ridiculous to have this experience when the rent is so expensive. I chose to pay for a more expensive lease community in hopes I wouldn’t have to deal with silly things. Even my unit had wrong colors upon move in, my unit was supposed to have white counters grey cabinets and was surprised I couldn’t even get that as expected. The this place will tell you everything is great but once you’re on their community social app you’ll see all the headaches of living here. I will be looking forward to the day my lease is up.
I sure hope my move here goes well because I just got off the phone from asking Lucinda questions and she was very rude during the call and kept reviewing unnecessary information we weren’t calling about. Will be updating my review during and after my move in. The rest of the staff has been amazing so far, this was my first time dealing with Lucinda. No one should take out their frustration on a tenant, especially one moving in less that 10 days. Doesn’t give me the welcome to our community experience / feeling that I had leading up to this phone call. Is this how I should expect to be...

I have lived at EVR Spur Cross since January and this community is truly the most peaceful place I've ever lived (and I've lived lots of places and owned 3 homes). The staff is truly excellent. Community Manager, Seleania, runs a tight ship yet is wonderful with people. I want to be just like her in my next life :-) Robert and Michael maintain the property in excellent condition and are very responsive and personable to residents' requests. For example, my A/C gave out this summer and Michael was there to fix it 5 minutes after my request for service. Same experience with Robert--he's helped me many times. Try to get this great service if you own a home or live in a high-rise apartment--no way.
I haven't had much interaction with the rest of the staff, but they must be truly excellent or Seleania wouldn't have hired them.
Although I am somewhat of a loner, there is a sense of community here and Seleania organizes fun community events. The pool and community facilities are lovely. The floorplans are really smart and utilize the space very well. I truly enjoy the feeling that I have my own "mini home" while having a great team take care of it. That is freedom to me. I think the rent is rather expensive (rents are out of sight everywhere it seems), but you get a LOT for what you pay for at...
Read moreBeware of the front office and their internal communication as it has already shown to be non-reliable within 2 weeks of stopping in for a showing. . I was assured that as a disabled vet with a 800+ credit score, no dependents, no Liens, perfect work history as well as Income, future income and enough savings that I pay 2 or three times the security deposit for good faith. I won’t name names but was told I’d be approved. .Two weeks later after pretty much feeling like I was set and after re reaching out to office after they emailed me, I spoke to the Assitant manager who told me that the I was incorrect and would need To show 2.5x base rent of income from the VA to count. Well the VA doesn’t pay vets 4-5k a month even if you are 100%. This is a red flag in my book because you never know when it will all fall apart in there and effect you in other ways. Pool broken or things breaking and runaround given. Been there before. or in my case me as a vet and retired paramedic. Great looking community and I was excited to live close to my family for once. I’m sure it was just a lack of training though or whatever. Also was told there was units available at the end of April when In fact you will pay 125$ to go into a bidding war via email when something is available in certain floor plans. All news so Thanks. So now I have to re start the...
