Blue Dove Aveda Salon & Day Spa — Attraction in Racine

I recommend this place to anyone. I've gone with them since 2017 and had no complaints. I went there for prenatal massage twice and every time I have migraine headaches that don't go away that easy. Yesterday I went there with a horrible headache and came out feeling great!! Jasmine is really good, respectful and understanding. Thank you Jasmine!! 😉 My husband made the mistake of scheduling me at a different place (just once) it wasn't that great and I wasn't happy because the girl started counting the time since we got there and had me fill out some paperwork and robbed me time from the actual massage. Jasmine starts the timer when she's in front of me ready to give me my massage! She doesn't rush you at all. My husband knows not to bother scheduling me at any other place other than Blue Dove. Halfway decent atmosphere but limited knowledge and no extensions experience. Took 3 hours for a root touch-up/color & cut. Their claim is that they do extensions, but can only do tape-ins and have no ability to go beyond this.

Got a halfway decent cut and color for almost $200.00.

If you're looking for an Aveda Salon there are many in the area with broader knowledge.

Not worth the price or time investment.

Also when they called me to cancel I was told I wasn't a good fit. I asked repeatedly why and the owner just kept saying i wasnt a good fit. She never mentioned that they were not qualified to do extensions other than one brand.

I was all knotted up, desperate for a last minute massage, and my monthly therapist wasn't available. I called around town & another massage therapist who was booked referred me to Blue Dove. Well I lucked out and was able to get into Christine (who happened to be filling in that day), because she is simply an amazing massage therapist. She was professional, focused and worked the knots out of my muscles with precision. She certainly knows her way around muscular system. I was hesitant to write a review, as I don't want her to book up so far out that I have a hard time getting into see her.
