El Buen Manantial — Restaurant in Racine

Updated Review - 10/19/25: We had a GREAT time! The food was delicious. The service was fast, friendly, and helpful. AND there was live music! We had the best time! The guacamole was fresh and tasted incredible! The main dishes were delicious… and the dessert was crazy good… and HUGE! Large servings and a festive atmosphere! ———— Updated Review - 7/13/22: My first review was 5 stars. After our meal tonight I am changing it to 3 stars. I am sorry, but we were disappointed. We got our food through DoorDash and it was here in record time... but the Tostadas were soggy and the guacamole was brownish. It did not look fresh. The worst part was... we found the avocado sticker in the guacamole. We were not happy with that. We stopped eating it immediately. I know this is not normal. There food has always been delicious and fresh. Maybe they had a bad night. But we received this way... and I call it like it is. We will definitely give El Buen Manantial another chance. Stopped at El Buen Manantial for drinks after seeing the pictures online and being impressed by the presentation of many of them and we were not disappointed because they definitely deliver on the visual appeal and have a fun tropical look. Me and my girlfriend were actually on our way back from a different Mexican restaurant so we did not have any more room for food but there's always room for one more drink so I can't speak on the rest of the menu but they do offer a very large variety of different alcoholic beverages to suit anybody's taste. My girlfriend got the Apple sangria which I did not think would be anywhere near as good as it was but I ended up drinking more of hers than I did my own LOL for myself I chose the Pina Colada since it is one of the few places that does not use Dairy and it was very good but I did not expect for them to put it to Blue curcoa which was very noticeable in the drink since it was not mentioned in the menu description but still very enjoyable I just would have appreciated a heads up on the menu that they would be adding an extra ingredient that would definitely throw the flavor in a different direction but overall we had a good time it's not a very large restaurant but there is enough walking around room so you don't feel cluttered and I look forward to trying their food...

I would give them a 0 star rating if possible! The staff is very rude and takes them extremely long for them to get you something such as a glass of ice or even a simple side order of limes! I felt extremely discriminated in this restaurant as I was the only Hispanic client dinning there when I went and the rest happened to be white clients I noticed that they are very friendly and are fast with things when assisting white people but when it came to us Hispanics they came to check when they wanted to and when we asked to please get a cup of ice for our beverages the waitress took way too long to the point where we had to stop eating and try to get their attention but nobody came. At last she came but by the time she came our food was cold! Overall I had a very bad experience! I was really looking forward to coming back here but after their HORRIBLE attitude and DISCRIMINATING acts I don’t think I’ll recommend this place to anyone! Please don’t waste your money at this place the prices are way to high for what you get! You could go somewhere better as far as food quality and service for...
