Nice dog park. Lots of shade and seating options. Might have just caught it on an off day but we were visiting from NJ and the vibe here was really different than the dog parks I've been to at home. Most owners weren't really paying much attention to their dogs. A young dog my dog was playing with got bit by another dog that had been wearing a muzzle. I'm not sure why you'd even bring a dog like that to a dog park. Then another dog chased the young dog and was circling and lunging at it and it's owner. She had to lift it on a table to get it away and no one could figure out whose dog it was for a few minutes. There were also 2 older dogs lying under a table that were snapping at any dog that got near them and another dog that seemed aggressive with anyone trying to play fetch. We didn't hang around too long because my dog seemed a bit intimidated and wasn't really playing after the bite incident. It might just have been a bad mix of personalities that day but it spoiled what was otherwise a lovely dog...

Great dog park! Very large area with plenty of room for dogs to run. Dog water stations, agility platforms, and many benches and tables for humans. There are also two separate areas for small dogs or for dogs that need exercise but don't play well with others.

It's very much in a pine forest, so there is lots of shade and the ground cover is a mix of dirt, leaves, and pine cones/pine needles. Watch out to not trip on roots.

The park is conveniently located right off of I-40 or Tryon Rd in a quite neighborhood. There is a community center right next door as well.

Highly...

I love this park if your traveling with pets great place to stop. Not far off the highway, gives dogs room to stretch out. Several different fenced areas, so if your pup likes alone time you'll find room for him. The local people were so kind. Area is full of shade for dogs, so I'm sure bugs could be rough on damp days. You might need a jacket on cool days, but the dogs love it... There is a water station and serveral buckets. We travel a lot this is one of best dog parks I...

Our boy loves this park! We've been bringing him here since the day he was old enough. There's so much room to run, lots of shade on his days, and loads of friends to make. The only issues here are the same that you'd find at any other dog park; some people neglect to watch or clean up after their pets so watch where your step and keep a close eye on your pup.

Always a bunch of dogs here, great for tiring your pup! Well maintained and wide open. There is plenty of seating in the park as well. Only knock is that some areas can get really muddy.
