Lake Raleigh — Attraction in Raleigh

So close to N.C. Campus, I wonder if students are making use of it, as to me it appears to me, it is made keeping them in mind. Looks like a very common spot for fishing. I even saw someone doing YOGA by the pier. Good walking trail and very calm and quite. We went immediately after rain so could hear some waterfall as well but could not locate due to muddy path. Lake Raleigh is a small lake with a big lake spirit. It's a lovely spot not in a short drive from downtown Raleigh and other locations in the triangle. The park is a terrific spot for a short walk and a sunset stroll with your family or your furry friend. It also offers great options for kayaking and fishing and sightseeing.

Located on the NC State Centennial Campus, this is one of my to-go places to see a beautiful sunset. This lake neither too small, nor too large. The trail is good for an evening walk or run. The trail does connect to your the downtown trails if you keep going. The lake is perfect for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, etc. I just love sitting on the pier with my feet in the water.
