321 Coffee - NC State Centennial — Restaurant in Raleigh

(*see parking note below) 321 Coffee's newest location is the perfect place to grab a quick beverage and bite to eat while studying, reading, preparing for a presentation, and hosting a small group meeting. In addition to the incredible atmosphere, which is impeccably clean, this location has multiple seating options to accommodate everyone. Small tables in the main area, spacious outdoor tables, and two private meeting rooms with presentation capabilities ensure you will have a productive and enjoyable experience. PARKING NOTE (According to the shop's general manager, as of January 9, 2025): While there is hourly parking available in the nearby Venture Parking Deck when you anticipate a longer visit, for a quick to-go pickup, there are a handful of spots immediately behind the building that are labeled "zebra" and "no parking." The property management company, Lincoln, is working on changing these spots - hopefully in the near future. Let me first thank Lindsay and her team for coming to our corporate headquarters and presenting us with a fantastic insight on her team, company and product.

The product itself is a great cup of coffee that the is roasted by Lindsay's team, who are fantastic human beings that have some intellectual or developmental disabilities, but don't tell them that as they do their job to perfection. Just each of their stories on how they ended up at 321 put a smile on my face and had grinning from ear to ear.

Having Lindsay come and speak to our organization about her company and what she envisions for it is a great story within itself. Not going to go in full detail, but she is such a joy to listen to her speak so passionately about her team and business that it makes you want to start your own 321 Coffee business (which you can't btw). The fact that her dream has now become a reality is a testament to her drive, perseverance and work ethic.

321 Coffee has several different flavors to choose from those who like the light roast I recommend you try the "Rise". I can't do dark roast because I think it's too bitter.

I love that they make an effort to employ people with disabilities! Being disabled myself, I have faced a lot of ableism in the workplace, including being illegally fired, and I think it's wonderful that somewhere is making an effort to overcome this. My servers were delightful people with Down syndrome who provided better service than most able people who have served me. Coffee was also delicious! It's a little more expensive than your average coffee shop but...
