It has three sections and which one of three is usually closed to recover for a month. A space for small dogs and large dogs with known aggressive dogs waiting until the small dog area is emptySo that they are kept out of the general population. From time to time, troublemakers come in with pit bulls or large huskies yet the park is mostly self policing. I just went through an incident with a girl that looked like she was on crack with a gray Pitbull she knew was aggressive and turned a peaceful afternoon into a long wait for the Police. She was trying to take it vantage of a Middle Eastern man that were turban and had a young happy dog that played with mine for a half an hour and never was aggressive though she kept blaming the blood on her dog as coming from her dog whenIt was coming from the dog it attacked and almost ripped It’s ear off, because his dog was black it could not be seen until the air was turned inside out. This is usually the calmest most friendly dog park in the Sacramento area and I have used it over 50 times and tried not to allow a camera carrying drug attic’s looking for a quick settlement, targeting people who spoke English as a second language. I believe her cast on her leg was funny as it had Velcro And the man that was being targeted by her was naïve and did not know he did not need to pay attention to anything she had to say and I warned him not to be cornered inside the gates. Again, Walker beware as there are People that will show up and try to agitate a crowd and then pull out a smart phone. As far as I know the best thing to do is to simply separate and put as much distance between you and them as possible in case their friends from the hood start showing up as you do not want to be cornered behind the fence. Mostly the police do not want to be bothered and it takes them almost an hour to arrive and this is the reason why it is so policing. This was a rare incident but I have seen it repeat it self several times over the course of the last year and a half. I would still say it’s the best dog park within 20 miles of Sacramento city. Almost everyone is very friendly and the focus is on the dogs not the owners. If you have a show dog it will be treated the same as a rescue and son dogs just like to tumble and wrestle you are playing and it is best to keep an eye on any newcomers especiallyWhen they are so fast to pull out a smart phone and start taking videos. This is our tax dollars at work, stand up for...
