Hagan Community Park — Attraction in Rancho Cordova

My son and I love coming to the little train rides that they have here first Saturday of the month. Let me tell you a story of what happened to us on Easter. My son and I thought the trains would run so we came to check out the park but the trains weren't running and my son saw a bounce house and immediately started running towards it. Knew there was a chance that the people would not want us to jump on there. So when we got there I told him to hold on. Let me talk to them and ask them if it's okay if you jump in the bounce house. We asked the lady she said no and I had to disappoint my son sadly. In a nice small town where I'm from people would gladly say yes. But this lady saying no reminded me that we are in a city. Not everyone is kind and generous. People are used to keeping in their own bubble being very independent and it felt like she was in a scarcity mindset. Cuz there were only four kids jumping in there. Anyway, that kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. And my son (only being 2 years old) didn't understand why he couldn't jump in the bounce house and threw a huge tantrum. Anyway nobody's right or wrong here. Went for the 4th of July Carnival and our daughter loved it. Only issue was it was crowded, but what can you.do about that stuff? Wait was long per ride or getting in, about 30 to 45 minutes per thing. Plus, I think the amount of law enforcement, especially considering they were probably ALL ON OVERTIME was a JOKE! SERIOUSLY? The city charges $10 per car to park at either Cordova High School or the park but they mustve spent the majority of that on all the cops! And the kicker was that all they were doing was sitting on golf carts, 4 deep, sometimes more, DOING NOTHING. Went from 4 stars to 0 with the appearance of an older lady at the front gate who ive never seen since ive moved here last year. Being physically disabled and having to pull my disabled senior dog around in a wagon is hard enough as it is. Now i have to pay to drive in to the area where me and my dog sit and just watch the ducks? I can't afford $5 every time i go to the park as we go here quite often. She said free parkings over there and pointed to a parking lot extremely far away from where we sit. There's no way I could make that walk without pushing my physical limits and enduring unneccasary pain.
