Mila's Hope and Rowyn's Dreams Playground — Attraction in Randolph Township

What a lovely park. Whoever created the layout did a wonderful job. Even when there were quite a few children in the park it didn't feel packed as the children were all able to utilize different areas and pieces of equipment without lines or other children piled in. There are many shaded areas under large umbrellas to get out of the sun and a shaded pavilion with numerous picnic tables. The equipment is sturdy, safe and in bright, welcoming colors and there's plenty for all. Also has a few spots for children (ahem, and this adult) to play musical equipment, such as a xylophone and wind chimes. I know it may sound weird to some but I found the park very peaceful. You'd think with children smacking out a tune on a xylophone that the opposite would be true but, perhaps because of how it was facing, I found the sound to be soft and more of a wind chime background noise. Oh, and not sure where they got the lovely castle nature themed concrete bench but I would love one of my own. Beautiful. Another feature I like is the locking mechanism to the gate. It's not impossible to open but is harder for children which means an extra layer of safety and not having to worry so much about them quickly slipping out. Will definitely be returning. What a wonderful play area for smaller children as well as older age groups. This area has a lot of nice sensory explore areas. There's even an area for your children to take their shoes and socks off and explore in bare feet. Great vareity of equipment for all ages and skill levels. Very clean and well maintained. Benches and seating throughout. There's even a musical area. The sandbox was full of many toys for the kids to enjoy and share, and there was chalk for them to draw with as well.

My only complaint was the yellowjackets near the picnic tables when we had lunch, but that's just to be expected. As soon as we finished eating and threw our garbage away, they seemed to vanish in thin air and were gone. Never saw them anywhere in the play area after that. Mila's Hope and Rowyn's Dreams Playground is seriously a gem. We took the kids there, and they had an absolute blast—the equipment is awesome and there's something for every age. It's so well-maintained and clean, you can tell the community puts a lot of love into it. But the real magic happened while we were there. Out of nowhere, we saw a hot air balloon take off from a field nearby! It was so cool to watch it slowly inflate and then gracefully lift off into the sky.
