The dirt trail along the canal is accessible from the parking lot through the Hunt Bridge. Overall nice trail and only encountered one bike. I think the path can be endless, so leave it for further exploration.

Even before they built the bridge and paved the paths this has been a beautiful place to walk. You see all kinds of birds, turtles deer. Its really pretty

If you're looking for a tranquil get away the Greenway is the place. Passing thru Duke Island Park and running into Somerville it is the perfect place to get in touch with nature. For the more adventurous you can opt to follow the Raritan Power Canal path thru the park and ending at the Basilone Statue. Another option is to follow the trail starting in Raritan that leads to the Duke Farms,...
