Washington's Riverfront Park — Attraction in Ravenswood

I like it but I wish for once they would do something for the kids here in this town. Alot of places have a splash pad we had the wooden park and now it's gone. There is nothing for the teenager or young adults. There's all kinds of stuff for the elderly to do. When I grew up here at least we had 2 pools 1 at the city pool and 1 beside the NYA hall which is now grass. We also had pool halls and bowling alley and skate rink and movie theater and even in video visions you had the pool hall in the back. This is a nice place to come relax and watch the river float by. It has a nice walking/jogging path that is concrete with bench swings along the way. It is a nice park for the most part, but there's a problem with cigarette butts, though; They're everywhere!! Especially around the picnic table areas. Littles want to gravitate towards them and pick them up, and it just doesn't look very nice or clean. My kids and I also picked up a good bit of litter around our picnic table and the play area and threw it away. Hopefully, others can do the same to help keep the park clean. They keep snowbiz down there during the summer months nice place to walk or take your kids to throw rocks in the river, theres a place for the kids to swing, you can hold cookouts or little events at the river front it was the host for the Ravenswoods Ohio river festival and Octoberfest, they have re enactments of the old civil war once a year and its a beautiful place to just go and relax, there are bathrooms on the premises, and theres a historic museum you can check out, very nice place to fish especially with I belive its sand creek coming into the river, good place to camp out with a...
