Escape This Place — Attraction in Raytown

My family and I completed the Secret of the Library room today. The whole experience was wonderful! I truly do not leave reviews but when I saw the post event email thank you I just wanted to.

Our Experience highlights... I called a few weeks prior to booking and was able to book an earlier time that better suited our family's schedule. We also were allowed to start earlier than our booked time. That was nice.

We came for my father in law's birthday. They acknowledged him and provided him with a birthday balloon. What a thoughtful touch.

The cute decor and repurposed items in the building are fun. My family and I learned some history about the items and space while talking to the owners. Very kind and personable.

This area and building can be overlooked for the flashier spots in town but make no mistake it is well worth visiting!! I highly recommend Escape...

Didn't finish but had a blast! This was my first escape room and I am glad it was. We first walked in and were greeted with a friendly smile and the Game Master gave us the rules in a very clear manner with plenty of time for questions. While we were in the room the intercom was nice and clear and were able to hear the tips we were given. The room was challenging but did not feel impossible and if we had a little more time! My daughters took me for a Mother's Day gift and I loved it! This was my first experience in an escape room. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to work or the clues and embarrass myself, but that didn't happen. We had a large group, so we worked together and everyone was able to contribute something. When we got stuck and couldn't get one of the contraptions to work, the staff was extremely helpful and stepped in. We figured it out and escape with time left.
